Welcome to Instrupair’s music courses
My name is Pieter van Heerden, a music teacher with a B.Mus music degree. I teach guitar to young learners aged 5 – 9 year for several years now and now started with online music courses. My experience in this area inspired me to create these unique guitar courses aimed at helping children aged 5-9 years to learn the guitar in a developmentally appropriate way. I have small children of my own and know how difficult it is to keep them focused in a guitar lesson. Therefore the material is conveyed in a fun and interactive way, helping the children understand the content better. They will learn to play songs that most children and adults know and enjoy, using a few basic chords. I also specifically talk to parents, explaining how they can help children master these techniques at home. These courses are offered in both Afrikaans and English.
I believe that this course will help your child to start playing the guitar successfully and enjoy music for now and in the future.
